The Vivobarefoot Kids Lumi Boots in Electric Obsidian are the warmest winter boots Vivobarefoot has ever made—ideal for icy adventures and freezing conditions. These waterproof, vegan-friendly boots keep little feet warm, dry, and moving naturally in the coldest weather.
The upper is made from recycled post-consumer plastic and treated with hydrophobic coatings. Sealed seams, non-absorbent materials, and a breathable waterproof membrane make the Lumi fully waterproof, while still flexible enough for barefoot-style movement.
A smart thermal insole adapts to foot temperature to provide warmth without bulk, and the drawstring collar with toggle closure makes them easy to put on, secure, and effective at keeping water and snow out.
Built on the Vivobarefoot Kids Firm Ground sole, the Lumi boots feature a 2mm base and 3.5mm multi-directional lugs for reliable grip across any terrain. The sticky rubber compound and toe protection make them ideal for wild, winter play in nature.

Vivobarefoot Kids Boots Size Chart
One of the biggest challenges we face is standardising the sizing structure as sizing varies between brands. For example a UK4 for one brand may be significantly different to a UK4 in another.
To help you we have attempted to standardise this by measuring all our shoes in centimetres (Internal Shoe Measurement (cm)) and then converting into our UK size for familiarity purposes (HLS UK Size). Please note that this will usually vary a little from the manufacturers conversion (Vivo UK Size), which is shown on the box, as this is unavoidable as we try to standardise across all brands.
We recommend purchasing boots which measure around 1.0-1.5cm bigger than the length of the longest foot measurement. For smaller feet and new walkers we recommend around 0.8cm. Please see the table below detailing the Internal Shoe Measurement (cm) alongside the Foot Length (cm) this size shoe will fit.
Always buy based on the centimetre measurements of the shoe and the foot rather than the EU size, UK size or manufacturer's size.
